Dream Center Student Assistant Chico
The Chico State Dream Center is a student success and resource hub that supports undocumented students and students from mixed-status immigrant families. The Center provides critical information, promotes equitable access to educational opportunities, and fosters student success and well-being through a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment. The Student Assistant / Student Intern serves as both the first point of contact for the Dream Center and an active contributor to programs, services, and outreach efforts that support undocumented and mixed-status students. This role blends front desk operations, administrative support, student engagement, and programmatic project work. The position is ideal for a student who is service-oriented, organized, and interested in equity-focused student support work.
ARC Academic Coach Chico
The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) is hiring Academic Coaches for the fall 2026 semester. Academic Coaches develop rapport with their assigned ARC students; provide one-on-one support to encourage growth and retention in school; assist ARC students with setting and following through with goals; and help with various skills such as time management, academic and personal organizational skill development, exam prep techniques, and development of self-care practices.
Social Media Marketing Student Assistant Chico
You will be responsible for creating social media postings and other marketing material to publicize events happening in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts (HFA) and the School of the Arts. These public events typically include theatre productions, concerts, lecture or speaker series, and art shows. This position is in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts Publicity Office. You will be part of a team of student assistants. While some team collaboration is expected, you are responsible for individual assignments. Work is assigned and performed under the supervision of the HFA Publicist.
School of the Arts Scene Shop Assistant Chico
These shop positions are part of our technical theatre team which encompasses all that goes into making a staged production. The main areas of technical theatre are scenery, lighting, properties, costuming, and sound. All of these areas work together to establish the place, time period, and mood of a production. As a student staff technician, you have the opportunity to coordinate with production staff across these areas. Student employees assist in both fabrication and installation of theatrical elements. While some experience in theatrical fabrication is desirable, no experience is necessary. We offer students the opportunity to learn at their own pace, while utilizing proper safety practices and procedures. Working under the direct supervision of the Scene Shop Supervisor, the primary responsibility of the Scene Shop is to construct, paint, install and remove all theatrical sets for the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Student Assistants will be required to operate a variety of power tools, hand tools and shop machinery in a safe and supervised environment. Situations may arise where heavy lifting will be required. Working on the floor or from ladders and elevated structures are common occurrences in the shop.

Organic Vegetable Unit Student Assistant Chico

SLC CHEM Supplemental Instruction Leader (ISA) Chico
