Students who have successfully completed KINE 322: Biomechanics, KINE 323: Exercise Physiology, or KINE 480: Exercise Testing and Prescription will work for the Kinesiology Department as a peer tutor for undergraduate students. You will be scheduled to work 2-8 hours per week depending on availability and department need. Students will arrive to tutoring sessions with their course materials and questions, and you will assist them with lecture and lab material, in addition to providing an opportunity to practice lab skills. You are not expected to replace an instructor, rather you will help students as they work through challenging material. |

Mentors are paid for approximately 15 hours of work over the one-week period at the current ISA pay rate. English 131 has two sections for mentors to join: Tuesdays, 2:00-3:15 AND/OR Wednesdays, 3:00-4:15. Mentors are also paid for a weekly mentor meeting (TBA) and for 1 hour of prep.
