| Role Description: |
The Engineering Student Success Center in the College of ECC is collecting application materials for a student assistant.
Description of Duties:
- Assist ECC students with general questions regarding the College of ECC
- Introduce ECC students to ESSC resources including E-advising tools, ROAR, DPR, Degree Planner, Schedule builder and Flow-charts
- Direct students to ECC Mandatory Advising requirements.
- Assist with updating advising documents, resources, and online tools
- Assist with data entry for events, meetings or workshops
- Be the greeter for the ESSC and remind students to sign in
- Answer phone calls and keep ESSC clean
- Provide updated calendar and flyers for ECC students
- Refer students to tutoring and other academic resources
- Connect students with clubs or involvement opportunities
- Participate, develop, host and actively participate in ESSC events including (Coffee with clubs, Wildcat Preview, Wildcat Welcome, Choose Chico and many other tabling opportunities)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Strong work ethic, good customer service skills and enthusiastic attitude
2. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and friendly
3. Enrolled at Chico State for at least one full semester.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
