Join the Technology Equity and Inclusion team and help make a real impact on campus! As an Accessible Content Assistant, you’ll support efforts to make digital materials easier to use for everyone, helping create a more inclusive and accessible experience for our entire campus community.

In this role, you’ll work with a supportive team to improve documents and course materials, and help create and edit captions to make content clear, usable, and inclusive.

No prior experience in accessibility is required, we’ll train you! We’re looking for students who are curious, detail-oriented, and interested in building skills that support inclusion, usability, and equitable access.

As part of this team, you’ll be joining a group that was recognized on a global level, having won a digital accessibility remediation competition just last year.

 

Qualifications:  

Successful candidates will be familiar with common software used on campus such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Canvas. In addition, candidates should be adaptable to learning new technology quickly.  All majors are encouraged to apply for this position as training will be provided. Must be available 12-20 hours per week for shifts longer than 2 hours each. This position is available to work-study recipients only.
